Arbor Village
Nestled in the Lincoln Heights area of San Diego, Arbor Village features 112 family homes spread across 13 garden-style buildings, complete with spacious courtyards.
Originally acquired by Linc in 2008, Arbor Village underwent significant renovations, transforming the property from market-rate housing to affordable in 2010. Major upgrades were made to introduce eco-friendly elements, such as dual-pane low-e windows, dual-flush toilets, and low-flow water fixtures, along with new cabinetry and enhanced accessibility features. To better serve larger families, 41 two-bedroom apartments were converted into three-bedrooms.
Additionally, Linc built a new community center, offering a multipurpose space, computer lab, offices, kitchen, and laundry facilities. This center now serves as the vibrant hub for Linc Housing’s resident services, including an after-school program.
Arbor Village is conveniently situated within a quarter-mile of a bus stop, public park, grocery store, and schools, while residents also benefit from easy access to nearby retail shopping centers and a hospital.
